If you work in education or project management, you know the "Monday morning routine." You need a tracker, so you spend 45 minutes merging cells, dragging date sequences, and writing basic COUNTIF formulas. It’s tedious, manual, and quite frankly, outdated.
I decided to put Mica to the test with a single sentence. I didn't want to click a single menu. I just wanted a fully functional, multi-sheet student attendance system created locally in my work folder. I took a sip of coffee, and by the time I put the mug down, the work was done.

What blew me away wasn't just that it made a list. Mica built an entire ecosystem within the workbook. It generated three distinct sheets: a daily tracker, a summary dashboard, and even a calendar view. It even populated them with sample data so I could see the system in action immediately.
The "brain" of the sheet used logic that usually takes a Masterclass to master. To link the tracker to the summary, it generated nested lookup formulas on the fly:
=INDEX(Attendance!$B$2:$AF$100, MATCH(A2, Attendance!$A$2:$A$100, 0), ...)
Beyond the math, it handled the "janitor work"—formatting columns, cleaning up gridlines, and ensuring the UI of the spreadsheet looked professional. Since Mica operates directly on my local machine, it navigated my file system to save the file exactly where I requested, keeping all student data private and offline.
