What the Mica Blog covers
The Mica Blog is a working library for people who use Excel to finish a specific job — reconciling a bank statement, projecting cash flow, pricing a quote, cleaning an export that arrived in the wrong shape. Each article takes one task, states the answer near the top, and covers the spreadsheet structure that makes the task repeatable instead of one-off.
It is written for Excel specifically, because that is where the files are. Questions of category — what an AI Excel tool is, which one to choose, whether a cloud service is safe for your data — are answered in the Excel AI guides. Those pages own the definitions; this blog links to them rather than restating them. The same split applies to the product itself: what Mica is and how it runs work inside your file belongs to the Mica guides.
How the four sections divide the work
Formulas & How-To Guides covers the mechanics — reading a formula you inherited, writing one from a description, importing a file that does not want to be imported. Excel Tips is the same idea at a smaller grain: one task, one short answer, the kind of thing you look up halfway through a workbook. Solutions takes whole workflows end to end — cleaning a messy file, building a report, modelling a DCF — and shows what the finished result looks like. AI Insights is where the category is discussed rather than the spreadsheet: what changed in the tools, and what an action-bot does that a chatbot does not.
One editorial rule runs through all four. Where a downloaded template would be the obvious answer, the article describes what that template has to contain before it fits your own data — which is usually the part a generic download leaves out. That is why the pieces here spend their space on structure and edge cases rather than on a file to download.
